The trainer represents an extended left leg with ultrasound-compatible areas, including the patella, patellar ligament, tibia, fibula, femur, synovial sac, and synovial fluid. Synovial fluid can be aspirated from a joint cavity using the medial or lateral approach. Insertion sites include suprapatellar and parapatellar.

Trainer comes with clear fluid installed to simulate synovial fluid but can easily be filled with any color fluid you choose.  Fill the trainer with red to simulate entry into vascular space, or yellow to simulate infection. (only clear fluid included) For added package savings, the Arthrocentesis Training Package comes with two replaceable tissues.

Available in Light, Medium and Dark skin tones.
