BOSS Platform - Basic Open Surgical Skills

Simulab's Basic Open Surgical Skills (BOSS) is a flexible platform for developing basic to advanced surgical skills. The training platform combines task features to develop instrument handling, suturing, injection, and knot tying techniques.

BOSS provides an easy to clean platform for synthetic or cadaveric task modules, and its ergonomic design creates a practical tool for improving skills.

The BOSS trainer includes tubing for knot tying under tension, a hook for knot tying, a cylindrical cup for knot tying, and suturing at depth. It features a tissue tensioning device and an open site with a flexible fixation system
